Students love to see information in different formats. Sometimes students can even co-create visuals or summaries with other students in order to articulate their own learning journey.
Creative response to Covid-19
This website was created as a response to Covid-19 and the need for teachers and students at OISE, University of Toronto, to support the transition to online learning. The website is a dynamic resource for those who have various levels of experience and expertise to share their own resources and to learn from others about best practices and emerging pedagogy and research in the field. A series of videos was created by my team to introduce students to some of the ways to get involved online and to take advantage of what others could share about being engaged in an online learning community.

When applying for the grant, I was excited about the chance to become part of a conversation that is timely, essential and much needed.
But, at the same time: I want to be part of that conversation. I want to explain that I am not only a colonialist white privilege educator. I am nuanced, too...

"It sometimes seems like much of learning takes place in that magical place where Calvin pushes down the bread and it pops up – Toast! "

Optimizing your online learning: OISE
Learning design: scaffolding, modelling
Worked with seasoned and first time subject matter experts to create optimal learning experiences, dialogical assessments, and opportunities for creative blended learning for 4 graduate project management courses.
For example: used Pecha Kucha as a way students could introduce themselves for a presentation class. Then found a way to also learn as a community while giving constructive feedback.
